pacseek

pacseek [options]

pacseek is a terminal user interface for browsing and searching Arch Linux package databases and the AUR. You can install or remove packages directly from the interface. It supports search by name or description, auto-suggest, sortable results, PKGBUILD display, upgrade detection, and a news feed.

Only works on Arch Linux and Arch-based distributions. Uses yay as the default AUR helper but is configurable for other helpers.

pacseek was created by moson-mo and is written in Go.
